Punk-O-Matic Wiki is a database all about the widely known and popular flash game series, Punk-O-Matic, that anyone, anywhere can edit and contribute to!

Punk-o-Matic (POM) is a music creation series of games based in Adobe Flash. It's available on the main Evil Dog Games website (www.evildoggames.com) and Kongregate, ArmorGames, Newgrounds, or other major flash game sites. The series started off in 2004. The creator, Evil-Dog, made a flash game called Punk-O-Matic were users can create their own punk rock music. Though it was just a mere gadget of the upcoming upgrade. It was a minor hit, as compared to the (somehow) huge success of Punk-o-Matic 2. Punk-o-Matic 2 was released in Jan 20, 2010 on Newgrounds and had more complex features than the first Punk-o-Matic. Both games were sponsored by Newgrounds.

Punk-o-Matic's success is largely due to its easy-to-learn, hard-to-master approach to making music. In POM (Punk-o-Matic), a simple box-like User Interface (UI) makes song creation easy to learn and use, yet the riff-based aspect, and tons of specials and manuals in POM2 make it more advanced for an experienced user to make a decent song.

A great feature in Punk-o-Matic 2 is the ability to create and customize your own band. The band will play your created song by playing the riffs you've chosen to put on the UI, or song strings you have copied and pasted in the 'Load Data'. You can also convert your song strings into MP3 by downloading the POM2 Converter v2.3 and copying and pasting the song strings into its paste area.

The official Punk-o-Matic site & community forum was shut down a few years ago due to hacking and some other stuff. But Evil-Dog & Evil Dog Games is still active on Discord & Facebook.
